about
In memory of Richard Brocklehurst.
Richard sadly lost his battle to Lymphoma recently after a 4 year fight. I performed this song at his funeral as requested by his family, it meant a lot to him and reminded him of his dad.
I have recorded the song and decided to sell it to raise as much as we possibly can for the Lymphoma association. There is a minimum purchase price of £1 but please donate however much you would like to.
Thanks
Dan
lyrics
There was a time, I used to look into my father eyes,
In a happy home, I was a king I had a golden throne,
Those days are gone now, they're memories on the wall,
I hear the songs from, the places where I was born
Upon a hill across a blue lake,
that's where I had my first heartbreak,
I still remember how It all changed,
My Father said "Don't you worry, don't you worry child,
Oh heaven's got a plan for you,
Don't you worry, don't you worry child, yeah"
There was a time, I met a girl of a different kind,
We ruled the world, I thought I'd never lose her out of sight,
We were so young, I think of her now and then,
I still hear the songs, that reminded me of my friend
Upon a hill across a blue lake,
that's where I had my first heartbreak,
I still remember how It all changed,
My Father said "Don't you worry, don't you worry child,
Oh heaven's got a plan for you,
Don't you worry, don't you worry child, yeah"
